ECIU University

ECIU University is an alliance of 12 higher education institutions in the European Union, including the INSA Group, which place innovation and societal change at the heart of their mission.

The ECIU University Alliance is committed to pushing the boundaries of traditional learning and promotes a learner-centered approach. Our goal is to create a dynamic and interdisciplinary learning ecosystem where students, teachers, and researchers collaborate to address societal challenges and stimulate social innovation.

Awarded with the 2019 European Commission's "European Universities" call for proposals, ECIU University is implementing a challenge-based learning approach, and all members of the INSA Lyon community can get involved.

ECIU University challenges: find innovative solutions to real-world problems!

Challenges are learning projects that challenge you to solve real-world problems faced by businesses, organisations, or communities worldwide, in connection with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. These challenges allow you to put your theoretical knowledge and practical skills into practice, while making a positive contribution to society.

By participating in a Challenge, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with students, teachers, and experts from other disciplines and cultures, fostering the development of valuable interpersonal and intercultural skills in a global context.
