INSA LYON

Diversity scholarship

The coexistence of all cultural backgrounds within the same learning community has always been part of INSA Lyon's identity since its creation in 1957.
True to its founding values of excellence and diversity, INSA Lyon has made openness to international students, from all territorial and social backgrounds, one of the pillars of its recruitment policy for many years.

As part of the national "Welcome to France" plan, the institution has set up the Diversity Scholarship in line with its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and in particular SDG 10: "Reducing Inequality".

The aim of this financial support is to encourage exchange and double degree mobility at INSA Lyon for international students in financial difficulties, thus enabling them to access engineering studies in France more easily.

The selection of candidates is carried out by the home university, which sends INSA a list of eligible students.
The European and International Relations Office contacts its targeted partner universities during the recruitment campaign, from February to April.

The scholarship is intended for students who meet the following criteria:

  • on a double degree course or an academic exchange;
  • from a partner university;
  • in a precarious financial situation or unable to finance studies abroad.
