Grid4Mobility is a platform for studying the management of energy networks integrating buildings, storage systems, and electric vehicles. Grid4Mobility is a structuring and unifying project around energy networks that involves four institutions (INSA-LYON, Université Gustave Eiffel, Université Lyon 1, École Centrale de Lyon) and the CNRS. It brings together around ten laboratories in the fields of energy, automation, electrical engineering, materials, mechanics, data science, and human and social sciences, most of which are located on the Lyon site.

The Grid4Mobility project aims to develop a systems approach to analyze and optimize energy and information management within an energy network integrating electric vehicles, energy storage systems and buildings. It comprises two demonstrators (La Doua and Transpolis) and research equipment in laboratories.
