3D Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies and overall numerical fabrication methods have been recognized by stakeholders as the next industrial revolution bringing customers’ needs and suppliers’ offers closer.
AMITIE will:
• reinforce EU capacities in the AM of ceramic-based products through its extensive programme of transnational and intersectoral secondments.
• promote fast technology transfer and enable as well training of AM experts.

Recent advances in signal processing have made it possible to design new digital imaging systems. Single-pixel imaging is a new paradigm that enables two-dimensional imaging from a point detector. It has raised increasing attention because it allows high-performance optical imaging systems (e.g., hyperspectral and/or time-of-flight measurements) at very low cost.

Abnormal heart rhythms are a major cause of cardiovascular disease and death in Europe. Sudden cardiac death accounts for 50% of cardiac mortality in developed countries; ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation is the commonest underlying arrhythmia.

Two major structural adaptations have been linked with the adaptation of the membrane to extreme pH and temperature environments: the synthesis of membrane-spanning, bipolar lipids and the binding of the glycerol moiety and the hydrocarbon chains by an ether bound. Bipolar lipids can form lipid monolayers, in which each polar headgroup points out on one side of the membrane. Monolayers are more rigid, less permeable and thermally more resistant than lipid bilayers.
