Workplace Equality Day in Higher Education and Research 2019

Since the law of 22 July 2013, every university, school and research organisation must have a dedicated equality office. Since 2014, the Ministry has co-organised an annual national day dedicated to gender equality issues in higher education and research.

For its fifth year and within the framework of the agreement on workplace equality in the civil service, the national day for equality officers and equality points of contact will be dedicated to workplace equality. 

Day co-organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation; Lyon 1, Lyon 2, Lyon 3 and INSA Lyon universities; the Permanent Conference of Equality and Diversity Officers (CPED); the Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools (CDEFI); the Conference of Grandes Ecoles (CGE); and the Conference of University Presidents (CPU).
