The objective of the BeFriend project consists in finding the best test conditions and MoS₂ nanoparticles properties (size, morphology, structure, defectness, chemistry) aimed at optimizing their tribological performances.

 

The effect of the environment (resistance to oxidation) on the lubricating properties of the nanoparticles will be addressed. Friction tests in controlled environment (T°C, oxygen pressure) combined with in situ characterization will be carried out
