An international event to celebrate the twentieth birthday of the Theatre Studies section.

The University Theatre International Encounters will mark the twentieth anniversary of the Theatre Studies department. The event will take place from 11 to 15 April 2011 on the La Doua LyonTech campus, bringing together local cultural organisations.
The programme includes a week of performances given by international students, theatre courses, meetings and reunions. Seven international companies will be present, from the Universities of Korea, Lithuania, Mexico and Quebec, together with companies from 3 of the 5 INSA establishments (Lyon, Rennes and Rouen).
The theatre workshop will be conducted by professional actors, with “Reunions and Encounters” soirées on 15 and 16 April. .
On 9 and 10 April, beginners’ courses are offered, with professional trainers and actors from TNP Villeurbanne. This will be an opportunity to tell the 5400 students present about the benefits provided by theatre training for their professional futures.
