UNITECH: a European excellence programme
Students from INSA Lyon selected
A meeting took place in Zurich in mid-March to determine the destination of students selected by the UNITECH programme (see details of the programme in the February edition of “En Vue”).
The result:
- 68 students were selected from among the best in their respective establishments
- 2 students from INSA Lyon will be going to Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and ETH in Zurich (Switzerland)
- INSA Lyon accepted 6 European students for the academic year commencing in September
This is good news, since the students accepted by INSA Lyon are from universities in countries with little representation on the campus at present:
2 from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland)
1 from Loughborough (UK)
2 from Chalmers (Sweden)
1 from Aachen (Germany)
The prospects for this new entry are promising, allowing us to envisage a growing degree of collaboration between the universities, greater visibility and attractiveness for students and closer contacts between the corporate partners in the programme.
In mid-January, 2014, INSA Lyon will host a one-week UNITECH seminar to bring together all students in the entry and the industrial partners..
