Responsible for guiding and orienting the policies of INSA Lyon, the core management team is made up of 4 people: the deputy director, training director, research director and the managing director of services; as well as 6 people covering broader management functions: international relations, corporate relations, accounting, real-estate assets, information systems and communication, supporting the establishment's two key missions: training and research.

This new organisational structure responds to 3 objectives:

• implementing the new project for the establishment and immediately establishing certain priority actions: budget transparency, quality and innovation practices applied to governance;
• simplifying the management team organisation focusing on training and research;
• giving new impetus to the establishment by promoting in-house talents and taking on high-profile personalities recognised for their skills and experience in higher education and research.
