The Lyon INSA IGEM team wins the gold medal at Amsterdam
Off to the world final at the MIT
On Sunday, October 7th at the European qualifications for the IGEM competition held in Amsterdam, the INSA Lyon IGEM team and its “Biofilm Killer” project won the gold medal together with a place in the world final at the Boston MIT.
The INSA Lyon IGEM team was one of the 18 teams out of 48 participants singled out for continuing the adventure in Boston. Only 3 French team out of the 6 who took part will be going to Boston: Evry (Génopole), Paris-Bettencourt and, of course, the Lyon INSA team (See full results below).
However, the Lyon INSA team needs sponsors to finance its trip and defend the INSA’s colours in Boston. If you would like to see this magnificent international adventure continue, please give your support just as quickly as possible: The world final takes place in less than 3 weeks, from November 2nd to 6th 2012.
