The group renders official the collaboration that has existed between the Ampère and LaMCoS laboratories on this subject for a long time now. It will give the subject greater visibility, particularly as INSA Lyon, alongside Chalmers University and Penn State University, has been selected for the Volvo Group's Academic Preferred Partners programme.

INSA Lyon was chosen for its competences in the fields of vehicle dynamics and active safety thanks to research currently being done inside the LaMCoS and Ampère laboratories. Aware of the genuine opportunities for international exchanges, research partnerships and training provided by this programme, the two laboratories wish to establish collaboration between the academic partners involved.
