His research activities are mainly focussed on designing digital models for predicting the behaviour of fluids in lubricated contacts (ball bearings, ring bearings, piston/cladding contact in engines, etc.). In order to minimise energy losses and the amount of lubricant used, it is necessary to understand the main physical phenomena encountered in lubrication, and in more and more detail.

The approach presented to the International Tribology Congress of Hiroshima offers interesting perspectives concerning predictions for the quantity of lubricant required to ensure the good working order of the lubricated systems. The presentation was awarded by the "Student Excellent Presentation Award", a distinction rewarding the presenter for the originality and exhaustive nature of his/her work, the presentation technique and ability to answer the questions posed.

Based on the experience gained during his thesis and his INSA training (Mechanical Engineering and Development Department), Vincent wishes to work as a research professor in the future.
