French Robotics Cup
3rd place for ClubElek from INSA Lyon
As the largest gathering of engineering students in Europe, with over 4,000 participants, the 18th edition of the French Robotics Cup was held between 1st and 4th June 2011 at La Ferté-Bernard (Sarthe).
ClubElek at INSA Lyon took 3rd place in the overall competition, behind IUT of Ville-d’Avray (1st place) and Belfort-Montbéliard (2nd place).
This was the best ever performance by ClubElek in the French Cup, this prize has allowed the association to gain entry into the European Robotics Cup Eurobot which is due to take place between 28th June and 2nd July 2011 in Astrakhan in Russia.
This will be the opportunity for ClubElek to pit itself against the best teams in Europe in an attempt to become the European robotics champion!
