This event is organised in the context of the award of honoris causa doctorates to:

• Professor Digby D. MACDONALD, Director of the Centre for Electrochemical Science and Technology in the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University (USA)

• Professor Tetsuo SHOJI, Co-Director ELyTLab, an international laboratory run jointly with CNRS, member of the Laboratory for Reliability and Durability of Materials, Rupture Chemistry and Physics Division, at the Institute for Reliability and Durability Research at the University of Tohoku (Japan)

The day takes place under the aegis of CEFRACOR (French anti-corrosion centre) and will be concluded with the award ceremony for honoris causa doctorates, presided by Alain Storck.
