INSAVALOR
INSAVALOR, a subsidiary of INSA Lyon, is in charge of INSA Lyon’s offers in R&D, Valorisation and On-going Professional Training.
INSA Lyon was the second-ranked engineering school in Research and Development – Industry and Technologies – October 2007.
INSAVALOR was created in 1988, as one of the first research valorisation subsidiaries set up in the university environment in order to support the research and development effort.
Its field of action
- Identification of skills related to industrial issues,
- Implementation of collaborative work: confidentiality management and industrial property,
- Establishment of framework agreements and housing of innovative companies in the Company and Innovation centre,
- Transfer engineers: transferring their knowledge and expertise.

In 2009 INSACAST and INSAVALOR share their skills
- Since January 2009, INSAVALOR has been managing INSACAST'S continuing education activity on a lease management basis.
- This coming together is one more step for INSA Lyon in setting up an overall tool for developing its research, training and development skills in an active strategy to position itself in the face of a competitive economic environment.
- It should make a still closer and more natural association between research and training activities possible and thus better meet expectations in terms of research and technological innovation.
