Presentation:

A BAC+5 (A-level +5 years) level diploma, open to students from the initial training programme and professionals through on-going vocational training. Training programme run in conjunction with two Lyon schools of higher education: the ENSATT and INSA Lyon.

Objectives:

The master’s programme runs for one year and trains students as “Technical Directors in the performing arts” who are technically capable of responding to artistic requirements, managing teams, overseeing the maintenance of equipment and buildings as well as ensuring the safety of persons at all times. This is an original programme that combines technical and artistic cultures, blending the skills acquired through an engineering school (INSA) and those of the ENSATT, which prepares students for careers in the theatre.

Choosing the Master’s for Technical Director in performing arts means:
 

• For applicants from the initial training programme, enhancing their previous training and using their skills to benefit the culture of the performing arts’ world. Through the internship, this is also the guarantee of working in this field right after their training.
