Plastic Processing (GMPP)
40 graduates per year
Mechanical engineers that master the implementation processes for plastic materials and their composites. They are at the crossroads between mechanical design and polymer materials science. They master the modelling tools, CAD and major digital simulation software for flows and structural calculations as well as main transformation processes. Their broad and multidisciplinary skills apply to all plastic applications (aerospace, automotive, boating, biomedical, electronics, packaging, toys, etc.)
They work, in France or abroad, as research engineers, production managers or project managers.
THE ORIGINALITY OF THE TRAINING
- Acquisition of working methods built on solid scientific foundations,
- Pragmatic approach to physical phenomena thanks to a large portion of study time spent on practical assignments on industrial equipment,
- Systematic use of digital simulation tools in all areas of mechanics (solids, fluids),
- Introduction to business economics and professional human relationship,
- Workplace integration through a six-month industrial internship in a French or foreign company.
