New Specialised Master’s Degree...
...in Tunnels and Underground Structures. Applications until 1 June 2011.
Created at the initiative of the French Association for Tunnels and Underground Spaces (AFTES), INSA Lyon and ENTPE, in partnership with AFTES and the Tunnel Studies Centre, this new Specialised Master’s Degree is designed to match the strong demand in French and international markets for training specialists in the design, construction and operation of underground structures.
With the aim of providing general civil engineers with specialised training to help them to progress rapidly towards positions of responsibility, whether as an engineer employee, main contractor, purchaser or operator, in February 2011 our Specialised Master’s Degree received accreditation from the Association of Grandes Ecoles. It also has the "International Training Label" awarded by the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA-AITES) and the support of the Underground Works Association (FNTP - National Federation for Public Works).
The course is designed for those with general training in civil engineering and geotechnical engineering, or professionals trained in a related field such as mechanics.
