Mechanical engineering, Energetics, Civil Engineering and Acoustics (MEGA)
The Master of Science prepares students for doctoral studies leading to careers in research and higher education.
The “MEGA” Master’s programme (http://master-mega-insa.insa-lyon.fr/): “Mechanical engineering -Energetics - Civil Engineering - Acoustics” is run, through joint accreditation, by four establishments in Lyon: l’Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, l’Ecole Centrale de Lyon, l’Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, and l’Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’Etat. The second year Master’s programme (M2) offers six training courses based on a partial pooling of lessons:
- Fluid Mechanics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Acoustics
- Thermal and Energetics
- Biomechanics
- Civil engineering
The second year training (M2) includes theoretical training (30 ECTS credits) and an Introductory Internship to Research (30 ECTS credits) which takes place in a division or team inside the MEGA doctoral school.
