Innovative Materials specialisation
The Master of Science is a fundamental multidisciplinary training programme in the field of polymeric materials, materials and multi-materials engineering. It provides a scientific background through courses, and practical experience through research.
This Master’s degree is jointly accredited by INSA Lyon, l’Université Claude Bernard and l’Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
Objectives
- Provide extensive training in the field of materials. Different aspects are addressed: development, characterisation of the microstructure, relationships between the microstructure and properties, modelling, applications.
- All categories of materials are studied; functional materials (for optics, electronics, opto-electronics, magnetic applications etc.) as well as structural materials (metals and alloys, polymers, ceramics, composites
Choosing a Master’s degree in Materials means:
- Obtaining an internationally recognised qualification,
- Reinforcing your skills,
- Developing a specialisation (chemistry, characterisation...),
- Building your research skills.
