Catering
All students accommodated in INSA Lyon's residences eat in the establishment's restaurants.
INSA Lyon's restaurants prepare and serve breakfasts and meals for students 7 days in 7, 11 months out of 12.
The on-site boarding programmes today allow:
- Boarding students to choose a full-time boarding formula (morning, midday and evening) over five days, excluding weekends;
- 4th and 5th year students to take their meals using restaurant tickets, considering their need to carry out end-of-study projects and to prepare their professional integration;
- High-level sports students to benefit from restaurant diets adapted to their sporting discipline.
External students can choose one of the packages on offer, excluding the one reserved for the 4th and 5th year.
INSA Lyon has several restaurants with specific catering arrangements:
- Traditional self-service: Le Castor & Pollux.
- Fast food: Le Prévert.
- Grill: Le Grillon.
- Italian food: L'Olivier.
- Point A: Breakfast Building A
Access to the restaurant is given on presentation of the INSA- University of Lyon student card.
This free card is valid for the whole period of their studies at INSA Lyon.
A replacement must be paid for. It must never be loaned and any such action may result in sanctions.
If necessary, the inspector is authorized to confiscate INSA Lyon student cards.
INSA students can eat at times not covered in their basic package or invite 2 people per dining service, regardless of their status, by purchasing additional meals to the basic package (see conditions below)
