Joining the INSA group
Context and implementation
Today, the INSA schools are well recognised and other schools or Engineering programmes wish to become involved with the INSA group, or even become fully-fledged INSA schools themselves. The group aims to answer these requests in a constructive manner, through a transparent partnership scheme, capable of:
- helping other schools benefit from our expertise,
- reinforcing our position on the national and international level through a coherent, concerted and controlled development policy,
- contributing to the structuring of the French engineering education sector while controlling its development.
This process finds justification in many contexts:
- to support the development of a school that wishes to become an INSA, when it is capable of fulfilling the criteria of the INSA charter,
- to formalise partnerships between the INSA group and other French schools that do not wish to join the INSA group,
- to formalise the involvement of the INSA establishments in existing or planned foreign schools (outside classical cooperation missions initiated by a single establishment),
- to consolidate the overall coherence and performance of the INSA group.
