INPI National Trophy in the Research Centres category
For the Lyon Institute of Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL)
Having won the INPI Trophy for Innovation in Rhône-Alpes last December in Grenoble, the Lyon Institute of Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL) received the INPI National Trophy for Innovation 2012 at the national final for the laboratories category.
The trophy recognises an organisation which is remarkable for its ability to innovate and promote its work through a strategy to meet the challenges of intellectual property.
Catherine Bru-Chevallier, Laboratory Director, received the trophy from Roger Genet, Director General for research and innovation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, on 22 January of this year.
The jury was particularly impressed by the dynamism of INL, which in recent years has made considerable progress in terms of human and financial resources and is taking part in a growing number of collaborative projects, particularly in Europe. The jury noted that INL has developed a real strategy for promotion, notable in Lyon with Lyon Science Transfert.
In addition to a trophy, the winning organisations received an offer of an evaluation of their intangible capital.
