In 2011-2012, students from the Amerinsa 2 Group and Group 97 (Asinsa) designed and built vehicle prototypes - a solar electric car and a recumbent trike with electric pedalling assistance and solar recharging. We should note that the first prototype was also part of the CRITER projects initiated by the Diversity and Success Centre and supported by the INSA Lyon Foundation.
 

Seen in the Solar Event 2012 race, these two prototypes attracted the attention of the organisers of Festiventu 2012, an eclectic, ecological event bringing together people who like to talk about the environment. The festival organisers believe that “today’s challenge is to bring together the social, environmental, economic and philosophical dimensions in order to succeed in the 21st century, which must be the century of sustainable humanity, sharing and fairness.”

For this 21st Edition of the Festival of the Winds, a team of three people: Damien Jacques (Lecturer in the Production Design Group) Alice Brun (3MED) and Clément Muttoni (3IE) were therefore present in Calvi to show and test the 2 prototypes over a 5-day period, an invaluable and highly rewarding experience.
