Exchange / Visiting Students
The recruitment campaign aimed to the Exchange and Visiting Students is closed for the Fall Semester and the whole academic year 2013-14.
During your studies, you can come and stay within the framework of:
- a bilateral agreement or an Erasmus agreement with your home university
- a specific program (ISEP, CREPUQ, GE3, ORA, Brafitec, Mexfitec ...)
- or without agreement as a "Visiting student"
Please contact the International Relations Office of your university.
Terms of admission:
- Your mobility project must be approved and confirmed by the International Relations Office of your home university.
- Please send your complete application form by the deadline indicated below
- Language Requirements: Level B1 (according to the CEFR) in French is strongly recommended, but not mandatory (http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/fr/resources/european-language-levels-cefr )
- A department of INSA Lyon must accept your application
Admission process:
Student recruitment process for Exchange Students runs twice a year:
- From September, 1st until October, 15th for the second semester (February-June)
- From March 1st until April 30th for the first semester (September-January) or full year (September-June)
During those two recruitment periods, you will find on this page the application form as well as the information guide that you need to apply.
To complete your application form, please prepare the following documents:
- Official transcript of records from the last two years
- Curriculum vitae in English or French
- Copy of your international passport
- Cover Letter
Please kindly remember that applications that are incomplete or sent after the deadline will not be considered.
The selection committee sets up to review the applications form:
- at the end of May for the first semester or the full year
- during the month of November for the second Semester
Acceptance letters will be sent to the students afterwards.
