Doing the First Cycle abroad
INSA Lyon offers students admitted onto the general First Cycle the opportunity to do the first two years of study at a partner European technological university:
- Technische Universität de Karlsruhe (Germany)
- Universitat Jaume I, Castellon de la Plana (Spain)
At the end of the First Cycle, they can return to INSA Lyon and enter the engineering programme or continue their studies in the same university.
CAUTION: European universities do not provide such a general education as French schools during the first years of studies. They are already partially specialised. However, INSA Lyon has chosen partners that enable students to come back to the third year in one or more of the engineering courses. We advise you to check with the people in charge of these programmes.
