CNRS Prize for LaMCoS
Julien Réthoré receives the bronze medal from CNRS.
On Monday 30 January 2012, Julien Réthoré, a researcher in the field of solid mechanics in the Contact and Structural Mechanics Laboratory (LaMCoS / INSA Lyon - CNRS UMR5259) received the bronze medal from CNRS at the "Talents du CNRS" awards ceremony organised at the "Hôtel de Région" (Regional Council Head Offices). The medal was presented by Claudine Schmidt-Lainé, the Director of the CNRS Engineering and Systems Sciences Institute (INSIS) and Bertrand Minault, the regional representative for the CNRS Rhône Auvergne district.
The CNRS bronze medal rewards the first research work of forty researchers, acknowledging them as talented experts in their field. This award symbolises CNRS' encouragement to continue the promising research undertaken. The Rhône Auvergne delegation won four prizes this year, including Julien Réthoré.
