AMERINSA celebrates its 10th anniversary!
From 18 to 22 October 2010, as part of INSA Lyon's International Days, AMERINSA, the Latin-American section of the first cycle, will be celebrating is 10th year. To mark the occasion, the section's teaching staff and students have planned a week of events devoted to Latin America.
The agenda includes conferences, projections of documentaries, an exhibition, a theatrical show, and a seminar about "Innovation and Diversity". An event not to be missed is the ceremony celebrating AMERINSA's 10th anniversary on Thursday 21 October at 6pm at the "Rotonde des Humanités" (Human Sciences Building), with special guest Nicolas Malinowski, the academic Director of the Edgar Morin Multiversity in Mexico.
Created in 2000, the AMERINSA section is made of 50% French students and 50% Latin American students, coming mainly from Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Colombia. The training specifically aims to develop the students' adaptability, innovative spirit, autonomy and open-mindedness by introducing them to scientific, technical and human cultures different from their own. Working in international groups, they study many different fields (particularly through tutorials, practical assignments and projects).
