- May, 1st, 2012 for the 1er semester or the whole academic year 2012-2013
- October, 30th for the 2nd semester

Academic Calendar for international Exchange Students (provisional) 2012/2013
| May 1st, 2012 | Deadline for registering for the 1st semester of the academic year 2012/2013 | Registration package and all completed forms are to be sent to INSA-Lyon, International Department. A letter of acceptance will be received by the exchange student after examination and acceptance of his/her application by the Department |

| August 16th - September 7th, 2012 | Summer school: Intensive French Language courses. Compulsory for foreign students whose French is not up to standard. Maths courses : optional |

| Monday, Sept. 10th or 17th, 2012 | Courses start | The date depends on the departments and will be communicated to you in the acceptance letter |
| October 11th, 2012 | Welcome Day for foreign students. See the international affairs office when you get in! | Organized by the AGERA (Association for « Grandes Ecoles” in Rhône-Alpes) |

NB : if you can not arrive before your registering date, please go directly to the International Affairs Office, Building Marco Polo (8:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00).
