INSA Lyon maintains its 3d position out of the 100 best engineering schools
INSA Lyon maintains its 3d position out of the 100 best engineering schools in the multi-criteria chart published on Thursday March 14, 2013 by L'Usine Nouvelle magazine. Behind Polytechnique (87 points) and Grenoble INP (81.7 points), the school improves its overall score with 80.7 points.
L'Usine Nouvelle magazine has evaluated the engineering schools according to four major criteria:
- insertion into the working world,
- financial resources dedicated to each student,
- implication in research
- and the international character of the training.
It is to be noted that INSA Lyon distinguishes itself especially in the field of research (scoring 92 out of 100 for this criteria); the school generates 24.2 million Euros through its research contracts.
